Structural Engineer, P.Eng – Full Time
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated structural engineer to join our team and serve our clients with the same care and attention that we have built our reputation on. Candidates must be registered as a P.Eng. in BC, with at least 4 years of experience specializing in the structural design of buildings. Knowledge of the BC Building Code and relevant material design codes is required. Ability to undertake construction site visits and hold a valid BC drivers license required. Construction experience, knowledge of structural modelling concepts, and experience using Revit and AutoCAD are assets.
Job roles will include the structural design of new buildings & renovations, using materials including wood, heavy timber, concrete, masonry & steel. Finite element modeling software is used, as required, to complete a wide variety of project types and sizes, each with their site specific challenges. Our engineers regularly undertake extensive coordination with building professionals including architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, civil engineers, and contractors. Site visits and field reviews will take you to urban and remote locations, from lakeshore to the alpine, and everything in between.
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours and paid holidays. Compensation, including salary and benefits, will be based on experience and performance.
